I feel it does make an impact on people when celebrities do awareness campaigns about HIV/ AIDS because people listen to celebrities as they connect with them. And with such issues, even if us celebs can contribute a little, it makes a big difference.

If celebrities take interest in AIDS campaigns it will have wider impact as people look up to them. Some find their role models in those celebrities too. Many brands hire celebrities to raise the product sales. In the same manner, if celebrities talk about HIV/ AIDS, people will pay more attention.

Yes, celebrity participation makes a lot of difference. I believe generally people don’t know much about AIDS, its causes or symptoms. If a celebrity participates, people make an effort to know what it is try to search for it and read it which creates awareness.

It does make a difference. Celebrities are considered as idols. If any celebrity says something, be it good or bad, people are bound to react. So, if such celebrities work for the betterment of society, people will at least give it a thought, because making people think is very important. If celebrities come together, along with support from the government, we can achieve the favorable targets. HIV/ AIDS is a very different kind of disease and is spreading rapidly in India. Celebrities are always talked about so if they speak good things about society, it will make a difference. Be it only 2 per cent, but that too is better than no difference at all.

I feel that it is very important that celebrities participate in spreading awareness on World AIDS Day because common people follow suit of artists and celebrities. And when celebrities set good examples, common people pay attention to what cause they are supporting and will come out to help AIDS affected patients. I feel that celebrity engagement does impact people. When stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Amtiabh Bachchan do a campaign, people get influenced and notice what the message is. And lets accept it, that big celebrities are like style icons for common people. This influences them to follow all campaigns which the star is a part of. So, being an actor, I feel its very important and we must make a point to talk about issues.

I do feel celebrities create more impact. That’s why most major brands hire celebrities and they earn in crores. It also depends on the cause. If the issue is greater and bigger, hiring big names works more. But if the cause needs to work on ground level, then the actors who have more visibility, creates more impact. For example, TV actors may get fewer print ads but they will attract more people on TV, especially if the campaign is aired around their own shows.

Actress Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar, who is currently seen as Diya in Sony TV’s Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya (Shashi Sumeet Productions), says that she decided to be a part of the show as it centered around her character and because she was the ‘hero’ of the story.
The makers of controversial TV show, Pehredaar Piya Ki, which was pulled off air in August due to its ‘obnoxious’ plot, have come up with Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya to showcase a fresh storyline with the same cast.
“It’s a new show altogether. I chose Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya because it has a lot to offer me as the female protagonist. The show is completely based on a promise that I had given – a guy that I am protecting and a sacrifice that I have made in life,” Tejaswi told IANS.
“In this show, I am not dancing around trees. I am the hero of this show. I believed in taking something like this. The story is something that we don’t get to see in the present world. It’s a way to make people believe in promises again. I really liked it,” she added.
Sony Entertainment Television had pulled Pehredaar Piya Ki off air after a lot of complaints were filed at the Broadcasting Content Complaints Council (BCCC) against the concept of an 18-year-old girl marrying a nine-year-old boy.
The decision was reportedly taken under pressure from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
However, the actress feels Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya will not face any such obstacles as its story is more relatable.
“The story in this show is relatable and will be easier for the audience to understand because this show is more about the promise I gave. We have gone off track. The previous show was less about this, but now we are more focused,” Tejaswi said.

Complete with diapers, milk and prams, the contestants are armed with everything that is needed to take care of their little ones. Apart from taking care of the baby, they also have to race to a parking lot created in the lawn area, and the one to reach last gets eliminated from the task; thus also discarding the person who’s doll they are holding, from the captaincy eligibility. Given that everyone has to partake in the task, there is no Sanchalak for Round 1, but the first one to be out of the task will become the supervisor!

Things get intense as Arshi takes the task, rather lightly, and starts ill-treating her doll that carries Shilpa’s face on it. I am getting offers from my friends to shoot for their pre wedding videos. I have never directed before. I have learned all this while I was on the job as an actor. It was a different experience altogether and I can take it further with the response that I am getting.”

There is a lot of effort women take to dress themselves and I respect them for it.”

The dating show is currently on floors. Along with Indeep the series stars Prince Narula, Yuvika Chaudhary, Manu Punjabi and Nitibha Kaul. Ask Indeep what prompted him to take this project and he replies, “I’ve got many offers but my choice and vision were different. The concept of this show is youth oriented. It’s a full on entertainment show and MTV is the best way to connect to the youth.”

How Indeep looked when he shot one for the chart buster ‘Saturday Saturday’ and how he looks now is an inspiring transformation. Plus during one of the auditions, people did come to me and said that ‘we want to be in your team Indeep sir,’ so there’s no point that I will be insecure of them,” Indeep concluded.
